I just had a quick question in regards to reseller accounts.

If a hosting company is offering a reseller plan with the following:

- 5,000 MB space
- 100,000 MB bandwidth

Does this mean the space and bandwidth of every client put together can go no higher than 5gb and 100gb?

Or does this mean, that is the maximum i can offer to clients?

Without looking at the exact details - I would assume it means that is the total amount you can use so all your clients put together can use 5GB of space and 100GB of bandwidth.

That really depends on how many customers you are planning on having and how many resources the sites require. If you have 50 brochure sites then the resources offered would be fine.

It is a pretty good amount, it's just (thankfully) that it's not massively overselling.

In truth, the average client uses no more than 100 MB disk space and not too much bandwidth, and so being able to resell 5 GB space and 100 GB bandwidth could be fine.

The rates are amounts that all of your resold accounts will be use in total. You can create your hosting packages as you wish and define their features(disk space and bandwith limits etc.) and can see how many resource you used on your web hosting manager.

Yes, that is your max limit.
However, some host to the extent allow you to oversell your hosting. You might want to ask the host.

If overselling feature is enabled for reseller, you can create & sell more than 5GB space & 100GB bandwidth
Resource quota is amount of disk space and bandwidth used for website files, emails ..., not the total quota that you allocate to your clients.
