I just did a whois on my own domain to make sure the correct info was there and noticed something interesting:

Record created on 10/08/02

This is more like the last time I changed the information on it.

Before people get on me, I did not go to catalog.com to register my domain, I used the much cheaper WebHero.com, which is affiliated with Catalog.com.

If you have a catalog.com domain name, please take a look at your whois record and let me know if the creation date is a bit fishy.

Edit: I just did a whois on another one of my domains and got the same thing -- the creation date was in July -- when I registered it in May.
