I am looking to get peoples feedback on all other phpmanager type scripts. The two I am looking at now are phpmanager and modernbill while the prices are way different so it the functionality. Just trying to get some feedback so please post and you have positive or negative.. also anyone have any clue why ispinabox has a monthly fee along with the one time fee? is there a real reason for this or just there pricing scheme?

I understand that I am looking for opinions on other solutions.. right now we use a access database but would like to find a solution that we could access while out on the road on vacation etc.
I really like IspManagerInABox even though it has a few shortcomings (cpanel/whm, taxes, domain reg. - all of which are planned very soon or in the next quarter). It's being developed more towards the hosting industry with each new feature (and next major release) and Brandee gives you fantastic personal support. They have a demo on their website if you want to check out functionality. Also, the setup+monthly fee is one of their pricing levels. You can buy the full license for $99 without installation http://ispmanagerinabox.com/ordering.php
I also have ModernBill but have yet to use it extensively but it seems like it does everything and cleans the kitchen sink.
PhpManager and WHNBilling are two others alternatives...

Well I have tried PHPManager so far and the main downfall I have found is that where I have multiple servers and shared and reseller plans there is no way to setup the emails so that if I get a shared signup it sends one email and if I get a reseller signup it sends another. I have also looked into ispmanagerinabox but that does not seem to offer this feature either. Anyone else have any recommendations?

We are working on the option to designate particular emails for different packages upon activate and resolvement to the server.
Unfortunately, this option will not be released until version 2.0 in Early December.
I appreciate your interest.

There is of course Modern Bill. It goes with authorize.net's merchant accounts.

Hi,
Okihost, try posting on our forums. What you require is easily done. It just requires a few lines of code to be added.

Yes but I think modernbill is very overpriced.. While yes it is a nice peice of software it's kinda of pricey. I guess there is a hack you can ad on to phpmanager so hopefully I will be able to get it setup soon.. PHPManager offers the most bang for the buck out of all the ones I have tested so far and the support is pretty good so we will see how it works out.

Is the hack for recurring billing? Or something else?

It;s a hack so that for certain orders say reseller plans I can send one welcome email and for shared hosting signups I can send out another.
