Respite 05-10-2009, 03:34 PM wow thats funny you guys are getting 69 but im getting 70 is that a typo on your end "WebHostingTalk - "Serving the hosting industry community since '69"" That would be an interesting motto
anon-e-mouse 05-10-2009, 07:35 PM Depends what time zone you are in :P

I am from 2209 , is that an issue ?
arshem 05-11-2009, 10:09 AM Actually this happens when posts are brought over with an invalid unix timestamp. Basically when the server had its issues and the backups were brought over the timestamps didn't save or were corrupted. Since there is no timestamp or a corrupted timestamp then it goes to Default December 31 1969
The Dude 05-11-2009, 11:18 AM WebHostingTalk - "Serving the hosting industry community since '69"Yes indeed, they are the looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooongest running webhost out there :)
MattS 05-11-2009, 02:24 PM lol :D That explains why this place has sooooooooo much traffic :D It was booming before the internet existed, so I guess WHT invented the Internet! Ahah!
Respite 05-11-2009, 06:08 PM Yes I vaguely remember that notice board at the front of the general store do you remember those days softwarerevenue, bear, & anon-e-mouse (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/member.php?u=17118). The good ol' moderating days pens and paper! Did they have whiteout back then.
bqinternet 05-11-2009, 06:23 PM January 1, 1970 is the Unix epoch. Adjust for time zones and you get your December 31, 1969 posts.
GVCHosting 05-12-2009, 12:03 PM yeah as bqinternet stated. This is usually the default unix timestamp. Happens a lot when the value is left empty/null/zero/invalid
