Normally I'm totally the same way. Something about this XP thing makes me want to advertise it to myself though...hence the XP wallpaper...it's a phase I guess...lol

It's RealOne buddy. But I agree, it sucks, unfortunately it's the only one I can stand. MusicMatch totally stinks. WinAmp doesn't organize the songs like I want it to.

2. Cluttered desktop
How's it cluttered? I have my MP3 Folder which has like real One, Kazaa, Sig2Dat in it. Then I have my internet folder that has Outlook, Netscape (sucks) and so on...

Wait, you use RealOne to organize MP3s?!?

First off, lets introduce you to the world of lossless audio (I have a picky ear and MP3 sounds like an AM radio to me).

Second, relying on a program to orgranize your stuff, just sucks. Why not F:\Media\Audio\MP3\%Artist%\%CD%\%Number% - %Title%.ape? Easily searchable, easy to shove into something like Agatha or Androeda for remote listening, and all your organizations stay the same when you get something like a Neo35 or the like. (And for live things I just use \%Artist%\~Live~ %Date% %Location%\%Order Number% - %Title%.ape)

Programs shouldnt organzie files, folders do. All I want is a simple MP3 player, WMP 6.4 does all I will ever need it to do.

Not to mention I can browse my MP3s over the network (and remotly) very easily, as opposed to relying on some program, which only works if I am actually right there.

Kazaa? I hope you use Kazaalite (though P2P is nothing compared to Usenet). And I keep my short cuts (300 or so programs installed) in my start menu.

And yes, I did just go there, Britney needs to go. I cant stand her. And her teenie bopper fans. And frat boys who drool over her.

hey xp is'nt so bad ;) it will make it look sweet if you choose the silver theme ;)

right click desktop > properties > appearance > Color Scheme check Silver instead of the default blue.

if you like the blue thats cool just most don't know about the silver and its a nice change :)
