I was thinking of getting the "Business Plan" which is $30 a month. Is this service worth that much, is it a good deal? Is it a bad deal? Has anyone else dealt with this hosting company before? I Emailed the support with a question, and they responded to me in less than half an hour. So it seems pretty good but I'm still not sure.. ^^;

Can you all tell me what you think, or point out a better hosting service? I need a lot of bandwidth and space (I host a lot of people), and I need something that will allow a lot of PHP and CGI files.. I looked at the TOS on this, and they give warnings to people who have many PHP and CGI files, as they call them "High Resource" customers. I don't know what to do, and I need a really good host that I can afford in about a week. ><;

Thank you all very much. :)

Couldn't you email them again asking if your content is okay to host on their servers? :)

All hosts have such a clause in their TOS. It falls under the CYA catagory (Cover Your Ass). I wouldn't worry too much about it.

What I would worry about this is this:

There are certain content that we do not allow on unlimited plans. This includes:

File Storage sites
Resold websites
Sub Hosting

Now I'll spare you the lecture on unlimited bandwidth and leave that to someone else but what you want to do with your account is Sub Hosting and they specifially state they do not allow that on their plans.

- Bandwidth charges of $5.00/GB over 10GB.

I gather from their TOS page that unlimited is 10 gig. You should be able to find a webhost that uses real figures openly for their prices that doesn't place all the excess restrictions they list.

Their TOS to me sounds as if they're cutting pretty close to the bone as far as profit goes. A few spikes here and there could see then in financial troubles. That's opinion of course - not fact. Though if they have a 10 gig restriction and still ban a lot of what 'normal' hosts allow without concern, the first thing I would ask is why?

Oh thank you. Well, what's a good host that allows lots of PHP/CGI scripts and subhosting, with a decent amount of space and bandwidth for less than $30?

I believe httpme.com has a plan for under $30 a month that offers bulk reselling so you might want to take a look at them
