Cape Dave 05-05-2009, 01:06 AM Man, that is weird. Neither it, nor mine or any of my clients sites work. As I am in the business, at least I know the Internet is not perfect. At least not ALL the time :) diligent 05-05-2009, 01:10 AM Man, that is weird. Neither it, nor mine or any of my clients sites work. As I am in the business, at least I know the Internet is not perfect. At least not ALL the time :) Your IP is most likely locked up in a firewall. Contact your host via e-mail or another connection, or even via proxy, giving them your IP. You could also do a traceroute to your server and see where the problem lies. ServerOrigin 05-05-2009, 01:10 AM Works fine here. Cape Dave 05-05-2009, 01:20 AM Thanks, I will check this out. Sorry if I raised a false flag. Cape Dave 05-05-2009, 01:28 AM Here is my trace route. Looks like it gets there and then stops: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6001] Copyright (c) 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. This is my own web site on the server. thanks. DXHosting 05-05-2009, 02:39 AM it came just fine ,it have a plane taking off rigth? Cape Dave 05-05-2009, 02:42 AM Yep. Ok, that makes me happy as my client sites are probably coming up also. I am concerned about them, not me. Frustrating as I have no way of contacting Ryan if I cannot get to their web site. I tried an email to support, but I am aware that is not a ticket. I am going to reboot my modem for the heck of it. ldcdc 05-05-2009, 02:48 AM Frustrating as I have no way of contacting Ryan if I cannot get to their web site. Try using PM to contact their representative here (could be Ryan, I don't know): http://www.webhostingtalk.com/member.php?u=126453 Maybe you can use a proxy to get to their site and submit a ticket? Cape Dave 05-05-2009, 02:49 AM No joy with the modem/router reboot. Darn, all I did was change one MX record on one domain. I am pretty sure that did not cause this issue :) DXHosting 05-05-2009, 02:49 AM try to use a web proxy and summit your ticket Cape Dave 05-05-2009, 02:54 AM thanks. I will try the PM. I am afraid to admit that I do not know how to use proxys. Never have had a reason to. Cape Dave 05-05-2009, 02:59 AM OK, that was easy. Now I know what a proxy is :) Gotta love Google. Darn handy little trick :) Cape Dave 05-05-2009, 03:06 AM Thanks for all your help. A ticket is submitted! Please consider this thread closed. AND THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP.
