Yesterday I came to know about a payment gateway 'Moneybookers'. While trying to transfer using my credit card I got a message from my bank 'Declined due to security reasons'. Also they asked 1% fees when i initiate the transaction. Later the total fees took nearly 4%. any one know about this gateway.? is it reliable? Any one can review it completely?

Moneybookers is not a payment gateway but a e-wallet like PayPal!

Beside above, Moneybookers has been in the business for ages and as reputable as the few others are.

For me it is better than any other system out there. It supports iDEAL, which is an awesome thing to have as a Dutch civilian. I've been using it for a long time now and prefer it over any others like Paypal.

Its a good system in my opinion. I use it as one of the payment gateways for my company.

I think they owned an online gambling web site called Gamebookers and accept payments by Moneybookers. Internet foundation of some countries+ don't allow access to Gamebookers. Because gambling is illegal on these countries. So most banks don't allow money transfers to Moneybookers. Also if you want to use Moneybookers to accept payments from your buyers when their comissions are high. And making payments of your buyers will be very hard by Moneybookers. Because their payment page was require phone verification. But I had used it long time ago and they was very reliable.

It's for me a good solution as Paypal; Today lots of people come from paypal to moneybookers so it's necessary to have both onwebsite

We used Moneybookers but the pass 2 years the goverment here banned them because they are related to gambling so we are unable to withdraw or place funds into our moneybookers account.

I normally just stick to paypal as nearly everyone uses them and they are very reputable
