Almost a week ago, a person on WHT named 'haxorboi" was offering dedicated servers on some nice bandwidth (verio)

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=84229

Did anyone end up ordering a server from this person?

Did you get it?

I know people don't like posting "one-week reviews" or whatever. But ALL i want to konw is, who ordered a server, who actually received it, and what was it like, ordering, how long it took, did you have any problems? Was the server exactly what it was suppose to be?

That's all i want to konw. I don't like getting burned.

Please note: I'm only looking forward to seeing people who actually ordered reply here.

That's great and all, but i'm only interested in hearing what customers have to say.

I just had an idea... I will setup a OpenBSD box first thing Monday, as a demo box, and give out a l/p to web hosting talk, so people can download, and do traces and what not...

good idea? yes? no?

haxorboi,

wonderful idea. not only will it let people test stuff till they drop (or are satisfied), but it goes to show that you and your operation are willing to go the extra mile (hopefully not only in the pre-sales phase =).

[sorry clocker, tell me when my apology for thread messing limit has been reached =]

good luck,
paul

Ok, thread is now on topic.

I ordered and haven't gotten them yet, either.

Checklist to see if I'm able to post without being flamed:

Customer: Yes
Order Server(s): Yes
Paid: Yes
Waiting: Yes

Whew....

I have no doubt in my mind that Brandon's going to follow through. I'm really looking forward to getting them.

I think Brandon is the kid who 'runs', 'works for' or whatever (don't argue with me) Rackeasy which is a 'family run' business with a couple of 13/14 year olds as employees I believe.

Are you in ANY WAY affiliated with rackeasy?

I think it's because the kid at rackeasy is called Brandon too. I wasn't suggesting any involvement.

ssh is there for a reason... i would like people to be able to get a better feel for the network.... first time someone abuses it, then it will be locked down...
