After talking too a few mates about it, they asked if I would be reselling reseller accounts, does anybody know hosts that provide this service.

Many hosts provide this, but I personally wouldn't reccomend using it. Many, many bugs in the software and really quite slow! If you have the budget, go for a VPS / Dedicated solution with your own license. Take a look in the Web Hosting Offers section of the forum for many providers! Of course as fscked has said, if we knew your budget we can help you better! :)

Sorry I missed your post fscked, our budget is around 10 to 20GBP per month.

I have spent a while looking through the Reseller offers forum, as for VPS we would need managed, and Im not sure if we can get that on our budget?

We host alot of mobile communities, and require unlimeted domains, MySQL etc, a generous amount of space and b/w.

WHMReseller is no longer full of bugs as it used to be, infact we've had very few problems with the software itself.

Most of those saying its useless are people that have never even used the software.

Most of those that say it's good are the ones offering it ;)

It's an unsupported third party add-on that allows for a horrible chain of resellers that does the end user (the customer) no favours at all.

Your budget should get you a reseller account, but unlimited domains may require a little extra. Do you need anything like free billing systems or private label ?

As we wont really be offering access too cPanel too most of our customers (they technically rent there mobile communites), the only people with cPanel access will be a few of our mates who take accounts, things like billing systems or private labels arent really important.

Which would make perfect sense as we're using it day in, day out.

Use WHMReseller every day and find it very easy compared to other plug-ins offering the same functionality. (Sorry this is off topic)

I like that shortlist :)

Another small thing that can help find a UK host, check they are a real company in the UK and also if they comply with Distance Selling Regulations.

The latter is essential but both should help you narrow down your list.

I highly recommend:
Ezpzhosting.co.uk (http://ezpzhosting.co.uk)

I have one of my sites hosted there, pleasurefishing.com.
I've not noticed any downtime and support is very fast and friendly.

Thanks.

Shortilisted Ezpzhosting, they offer Master Reseller, which I like, but similar reseller accounts (space and b/w wise) I have seen for a little less, I would need too see if theres much point in paying more for Master Reseller accounts. I may just give there sales a call.

For 20GBP the most likely is to get a reseller account. You will need VPS to sell reseller accounts, but VPS cost 30++ GBP most of the times.

a generous amount of space and b/w

What is generous for you? :)

I have discoverd I will not need VPS, and as I stated I would need managed VPS, which I am lead too believe is out of my budget at the moment.

A managed vps say with 256mb of ram may range from £30 - £40 or so, depedning on the company you choose.. So I believe a reseller account should best suit your requirements here..
