1) All the info you need is here on this forum
2) You can use paypal but, I wouldn't recommend using it as your only processor.

One good way to setup your new business is to use quickbooks pro accounting. Quickbooks has a credit card processing tool built in. So you can generate invoices, and charge a persons card, and credit your check register all in one step. Really slick. It would cost you about 35.00 per month.

Second you can use products simular to Miva Merchant to build an ecommerce site promoting your hosting plans and set it to do simple validation. The program will gather your sales without a gateway, you download the credit info and enter it into quickbooks.

When I first started out, I used only paypal, checks and money orders for about 5 or 6 months, then I added CC payments. I think it does leave you at a disadvantage, but it can be done :)

Welcome to the site. You'll find bundles of information on these forums. You can learn a lot from here. You should check out http://www.sitepoint.com they have a lot of webmaster resources.

Paypal only accepts certain countries, not all of them. So check their site out before you try anything. I think the best solution is 2checkout.com or another 3rd party processor.

Good luck with the business!

you'll need a good business plan if you're going to make money at it and stay around a while.

Oh, if you're looking to do some part-time job, instead of a full time business... it's wise that you check out eLance or scriptlance.
