Network & Facilities Overview
Ugroup Network Operations Center (NOC) is located in the Teledoor Building at: 100 NE Terrace Street • Miami, Florida. There are multiple providers inside Teledoor building includes; NTT/VERIO, COGENT, INTERNAP, UUNET, QWEST, BELLSOUTH, EPIK, ALERON, AT&T, XO Communications. Connections ranging from OC3s (155Mbps) to gigE (1,000Mbps) through a variety of carriers assures choice and route diversity.
Ugroup Network Operation Centers (NOC) has proven to achieve 99.998% uptime, low latency and high throughput.
Our switched network utilizes the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP4) for best case routing. Our entirely switched, Cisco powered network employs Cisco GSR 12000 class routers running HSRP (N+1 hot fail over) to ensure that data can be routed even in the event of a router failure. The BGP4 protocol is a standard that allows for the routing of packets of information sent out from our network. Each packet of information is evaluated and sent over the best route possible. Because of our redundant network architecture, packets may be sent via alternative routes even if they are being delivered to the same end user. Should one of our providers fail, packets leaving our network are automatically redirected through another route via a different provider.
Ugroup self-healing network architecture virtually eliminates a single point of failure. In addition to our own backbone, we also purchase backup transit from multiple providers in multiple locations to ensure that your data will arrive via the shortest possible routes. Because of our backup transit and the many international peers, our network maintains the shortest routes for sending your data all over the world.
All servers are secured in a state of the art Smart POP; monitored by both on hand technicians, IP cameras and door security via Hand geometry reader; dual power feeds backed up with UPS, Rectifiers, Batteries and Generator to ensure our customers have near zero down time.
