Hi

My current hosting company that I have been hosting with for almost 2 years changed my reseller plan without my consent. Alltough their service has been top notch I don't think it is the right way of doing business.

I have 3 options, the first to accept the change which is less resources and a $5 price drop, the second is to upgrad a more expensive plan ($10 more per month) and the third is to look for a new hosting company with all the hassel accomadating it.

I would appreciate recommadations for windows reseller hosting companies that have been in buisnees for at least 4 years.

My needs are 30GB monthly transfer, 2GB disk space (storage) and 15 accounts. my budget is up to $30 per month

Thanks

What was the reason for the plan change that they implemented? Were you on a custom plan with them? If their service has been top-notch, I would recommend you to stay with them, analyze your requirements and decide which way you would like to move (spend extra $10/mon or not).

If however you're still looking for a change in hosts, I would recommend you to look into some of the top threads in Windows Hosting section, shortlist the hosts the meets your requirement/budget, search for their reviews using 'search' feature on top right corner of the page and thereafter decide about signing up with them.

Good luck!

Are you really that unhappy with them? I mean moving your clients means they're going to be unhappy with your decision and they could move away.

Yes I'm very unhappy with the change and the way it was done very unprofessional in my opinion.

The plan I was on is a custom plan and I found about the change only when my credit card was charged an extra $20 (the extra charge was credited back to my account).

I'm not sure I will move but I want to find out what other good quality hosting I can find before I make my decision. I'm unhappy enough to spend time and check my options. it is obvious to me that my current hosting company does not care much about my business and me as a customer.

I would appreciate recommendation for windows reseller hosting companies that have been in business for at least 4 years.

Your host should inform customers about the price increase.
This usually happens for hsphere host because of Hsphere fee structure.
If you are busy and have more important business to do, you should stick with current provider.
It will require some hard work when migrating asp.net apps with MSSQL database.

My custom plan was changed, plan resources lowered, and price lowered by $5. the extra charge was an error which was fixed.

I would prefer that no changes were made as I was not looking to save $.

thanks for you thoughts and input

Its always advisable to go with a hosting company which has some kind of a price lock guarantee.

After reading and searching the forum I've decided to try out Eirca.net

Found some good comments and posts about them, and their price is in my range.
