Hi,

I have several XP 1900+ servers at rackshack. I realize they aren't selling them anymore, but I believe they are all the same hardware and etc.

They are currently running default kernels. I wanted to compile 2.4.19 with only what's needed. As in, i want to make the kernel really small. Smallest I can go.

I've asked RackShack to tell me what motherboard the server is using, but they havent responded yet, and frankly i dont think they will give me a real answer i can work with.

So I was wondering if anyone on here could help me maybe pin point, or figure it out?

I hear if you konw certain pieces of info, you might be able to figure out waht mobo it is..?

I'm not good with kernels (i would have a friend do it for me)
but here is some info

So by looking at all this info, does anyone have any idea as to what mobo it could be? Because If i know the mobo, i can tell my friend, and i'm pretty sure we can work with that.

Any help would be greatly appreeciated!

Thanks.

Why not provide the info? This is a simple question and not that hard of one to answer.... Just really baffles me.... Are they afraid you are going to do something you should not do (flash bios, etc)?
