Are you looking to get your site converted to PHP, or simply skinned/integrated?

Well, I'm currently using an xhtml/css website - but I want to make it so people can purcahse my templates through the website.

Unless I miss what you're asking for, WHMCS can already be used for this. You set up the products, then link to either individual products or the main category. It's a matter of adding links to purchase on each page, which is straight HTML.

Unless you mean to have it dynamically and automatically show and link on pages?

Well, I just want them to be able to checkout, clicking on "buy now"

I was told the site would need to be PHP.

Only the WHMCS parts need to be PHP (it already is) unless you plan to puzzle out how to call template products (or any product) directly from the database in real time or something. If you're just selling using WHMCS, you only need to make a buy now button, and wrap a plain HTML link to the product in WHMCS.

[EDIT]To test this, create a product in WHMCS. Once you do, there will be a link to that product that you can copy. Stick that on a plain HTML page, and click it. ;)
