Hey after I gave my son a free dedicated ... He wants to learn c# and learn to do things with it. I learned from taking a open source program thats about 2gb in size and messing with it for hours on end. are there any easy links for beginners to learn c-sharp for the less dedicated of people lol?

http://www.w3schools.com/
One of the best site to learn basics of programming. Covers majority of the mainstream languages.
Will take your son lesson by lesson so its easier to stop and start as well.

This may sound funny but tell your son to watch the video tutorials on youtube. You can find some interesting tutorials on their and i'm more of a C++ Programmer. A good IDE to start with is jGrasp (FREE) just incase your wondering.
