I've currently been looking for hosting, and have gotten somewhat frustrated in my search :bawling: I've even gone in the hosting requests for "free hosting", in exchange for banners,etc. Although I did have some offers from very nice people, I've been thinking of purchasing hosting with Spenix.com I have emailed Matt with questions and he is always very prompt and nice with replies.

I was mostly wondering opinions on Spenix.com (besides the fact that Matt was the former owerner of WHT). How are their servers, hosting, any current users?,etc. Besides quality hosting, I've been looking for good customer service & support, which Spenix.com seems to have.

I have yet to hear a complaint about them...there were a couple praises a few weeks ago.

I HIGHLY doubt you would have a bad experience at Spenix

Be sure to come back in a couple months and give us a review so that others may search for it in the future ;)

Do give us a review, most of the threads on that search list kept going on about how Matt used to run WHT which is why Spenix will be a success and so on. Running a forum is a different ball game to running a hosting company, so i'm sure everyone wants to know how Matt's handling things ;)

hmm, I'm not too familiar with what's "good" regarding the ping..but glad to hear it is good!

Fazel3- I agree, most of the threads that I did come across regarding Spenix.com mentioned Matt previously being the owner of WHT..but I was looking to find out more about the actual hosting. Either way, I went to the site and the FAQ section helped me with a lot of the questions I had. Im hoping to sign up with Spenix.com soon, and will deffinately post my review ;)

Spenix have been great so far. Reliable, flexible and professional.

The plans have slightly changed (along with a small increase in price) but still pretty good.

My only negative comment is the amount of time it took to answer a support request - 12 hours, although note that I did not flag it as high priority and you only need to use it if there's a real problem. The Control Panel allows you to make all the necessary changes to your account.

Yes, I did notice the slightly changed prices and plans, but still a very good deal. I just wish they had more ways to contact Spenix besides email (ex. aim, yim,etc). Guess email will have to do :rolleyes: Besides that, I'm happy with my choice. Of course, I have yet to actually use the hosting,etc the staff at Spenix.com (especially Matt) have been very helpful. Every time I've emailed him, he has promptly & kindly responded with answers to my questions.

I signed up with Spenix last night around 11pm (little before that) and my account was setup by 10am this morning! :) I changed the nameserver info for my domain, and I'm still waiting for it to propogate.

I really like the XSkin they have for their control panel! cant wait to get my site up and going! Hope to continue to add nothing but good news regarding Spenix.com
