it won't hurt to try and get them to do it. although you might have to bug them about it quite a bit. :D

ordered an additional ram 10 days ago, is not installed yet.

perhaps they do but how long they take is another question...

I host with ***** and the only problem I have is customer service.

They seem to get things done when I call them and make them do it for me before I hang up.

The problem is it takes up to an hour to get on the phone with them.

11 days ago i ordered an additional 256mb ram. i had to open 4 tickets, 5-times in chat (waiting more than 2 houres), 5 mails to specific person.

when i was in chat the technician said: "i told an administrator he said it's getting done today...". i said: "can you promise it?". He: "yes." I was waiting and waiting and waiting...

I had to escalate my trouble tickets up to 6-times. Everytime an answer like: "I will follow up with our dedicated sales rep tomorrow and make sure this gets done by early afternoon." Or: "I have sent this request to th admin. The installation will be taken care of, i assure you. i apologize for the inconvenience."

The nicest was that I received the invoice for it 2 days after ordering it. That means 9 days before they installed it.

That's a good one! :)

Well, I have no personal experience with *****, but I will say that many who frequent this board DO! And I have yet to see a case where they don't regret any kind of relationship they ever had with *****. My advice if you are with *****... run, RUN away! :) There a many good hosts out there, but ***** does not seem to be one of them!

Oh My Gosh,

People actually get throught to tech support? resellers cant even get through to them!!! Took a month get a SQL set up once.
