No, I don't think so. Susanna is a valuable asset to a number of forums, and contributes significantly to them. Alot of Susanna's posts are "lounge" type posts, because as long as her hosting questions are answered the rest will generally be good content.

Victor Borge, to name one, made a career at poking fun at language and how we mangle it, so let's not go overboard here. However, if you're going to formally publish anything as a business and expect to be taken seriously you should at least run your text through a spelling checker.

Having been raised in a family where most are non-native speakers of English, I appreciate linguistic challenges. I also see the humor in it, as I hope most people do. (Remember Jimmy Carter's speech in Poland way back when?) I have studied five languages -- Russian not being one of them but would love to try -- so, I'm quite accustomed to being laughed at by native speakers of those languages when I make mistakes. In fact, I laugh with them. In this particular case, any sarcasm is directed at those who peddle flesh and not Russians in general or women in particular.

Sorry if you don't appreciate my sense of humor. It's quite harmless, really.

Business? Isn't that site made for dating service type of thing? I remember I went there sometime ago, but it's down right now, or blocked for me.

American comedians have some dry and dull humor. Their lines are full of racial slurs and discrimination against certain people. The sad part is that it's the only thing that seems funny to the audience.

I just hope someone will use intelligence towards their comedy, for once.

I have a good friend that married a Russian bride thru one of those dating services.

She is a very nice lady, beautiful and sweet. I do know that for every email she sent him it cost her about $3.00 US almost a weeks wages in Russia. These women are very serious about finding a husband and it is not cheap to bring one over to the US. Figure it will cost about 10K on the cheap so anyone looking had better be serious about it too.

But if you can't find your perfect match in the USA maybe Russia is your answer.

I think I will stick with an Aussie girl, they have a good sense of humor.

We had a very interesting story once...
We were developing a site called http://thai-partner.com a long time back for a client of ours in Thailand. It is very similar to the site mentioned in this thread with the difference being thai ladies instead of russian ladies.
