Well I plan on getting 5 dedi's. 1 for mysql 1 for storage of files etc what would be the best panel to do this. A clients site has surpassed some very nice dedis. and we are stumped on the best control panel to do this. I heard directadmin could do this nicely but as I use cpanel not sure how well I could do this

Neither directadmin nor cpanel will be simple to use with multiple servers.

I think you should look into something like hsphere, which is a mature and stable multi-server control platform.

thank you very much I do clusters etc on cpanel for myself but It its constant work to keep it up and me and him are both thinking about dumping cpanel and going with somthing else

You can manage multiple linux/windows servers using Hosting controller panel as well.
Hsphere and Hosting Controller are pretty much the same to manage both type of OS panel in single cluster.

Since HSphere acquisition by SWSoft their support has not been impressive but I do not know yet about Hosting Controller whether there is any plan of them to be acquired by other companies. Though their support may be one of the best.

I am very much sure Hosting Controller would not be acquired by any other company. The rate at which they are going is fantastic. Recently they have launched beta of their new version, Hosting Controller 8. The features introduced in that are encouraging.
