Network:

Leaseweb's network has been designed for high levels of redundancy and scalability. It connects our four POP's to tier-1 carriers and 10 internet exchanges across Europe and one in the USA. Our core and edge routers are interconnected through (multiple) 10 gigabit ethernet wavelenghts or direct dark fiber connections. We have chosen the tier-1 network carriers carefully to complement each other and provide sufficient performance in case of problems. Also we are connected to "the big three" - these are the three biggest internet exchanges in the world: AMS-IX in Amsterdam, DE-CIX in Frankfurt and LINX in London. Other internet exchanges across Europe have been carefully chosen to ensure the best possible network connectivity. This results in the highest bandwidth and lowest latency. We uphold a policy of always having more than double internet capacity than is used by our customers which is currently around 250Gbit/s. Thus we have now a total external network capacity of over 500Gbit/s and our internal network capacity exceeds 1 Terabit/s. Our extended 24h/365d network monitoring allows us to proactively react and prevent the network issues before they appear. We also monitor networks of our providers to always provide our customers with the best available network path to all destinations. Is it possible to get Express Server 3 without Windows license? I need to have FreeBSD on it :).

At the moment we only offer our Express Servers with Debian/CentOS or Windows only as specified in this post or on our website. However, we plan to launch Express Servers with Ubuntu and FreeBSD and more Windows Server 2003/2008 versions soon. The exact launch date is as of yet unknown.

Ok, but is this any way to order Express 3 with Debian? In order form I see only Windows.

FreeBSD and/or OpenBSD - both just as easy to install but hard to find these days. Would prefer both as option on Express servers, even paid option to install, I'd go for it.

As mentioned earlier at the moment we only offer our Express Servers with the OS specified in this post or on our website. Other combinations are as of yet not optional.

To be IT professionals more of help we will offer many other OS (incl. FreeBSD) soon.
