Thats right, to celeberate the relaunch of TerraStudios Virtual Dedicated Server offerings (not even advertised on the site yet!), using UML, we can offer you TRUE virtual redhat enviroments - get full root access, not foe-admin access as you do with FreeVSD, this is access where you can, if you ever felt the urge to, remove all the files on your server, yes you have that much control.

You can even install the likes of Plesk/Cpanel/Ensim etc... onto your virtual server.

All servers are hosted in the DV2 data facility located in Atlanta.

I have used UML before, and it is quite slow. What kind of performance do your VDS have?

Maximum of 10 vds (prolly less, depending on loads)

Resource limitations, each server will have a inital 128-256 ram assigned, more will be assigned when required

omg,

i cant believe that slipped my mind. ive used uml on several occasions to debug my lkm which kept crashing. though i imagine its more suitable for debugging.

[anxiously awaiting reviews]

HI Jolly,
CK is correct, we are using user-mode-linux (UML)

Does UML seperate cache? Ie. IPC perl modules will either not work, or they will work in some sort of 3j33t jail. As well, does postgres work (same issue, I believe...)

postgres works yes, not sure regarding IPC perl modules - but if they have the same issue as postgres, then it should work :)
