We are offering the first 6 respondents to this post a free .uk registration which lasts 2 years.

You can chose from:
.co.uk
.org.uk
.me.uk

Check availability using the availability checker at: http://www.bhost.biz/?domains

Please respond to this post to reserve your place, then we will personal message you to get your details for the registration. Only the first 6 public-post respondents will receive a free UK domain.

Why are we doing this? We have recently invested in an elaborate set of new DNS servers and would like to test capability, and get user feedback on our DNS management service.

Conditions:
*You must keep your domain with BHost for the two year registration period. After two years, you can transfer the domain to another UK tagholder with no penalty, or you can renew with us.
*You must use the domain with our web-based DNS management service. You can amend A, CNAME, MX records etc. quickly and easily.
*We would like you to use an external hosting provider - ideally your own dedicated server - as we mentioned, this is to test our DNS service, not our hosting service.
*You need to actually use the domain for something, please don't ask us for a domain just because it's free.
*You must give us some user feedback on your experience using our web interface, just a brief email outlining how you think it can be improved.
*UK registrations are subject to Nominet's Terms and Conditions - see http://www.nominet.org.uk/nominet-terms

Hello.

This could be the first post to this unique offer. I'll wait and see if this is my lucky day on Aprils fools day.

I chose a bad day to post this offer - it is 100% genuine, it is not an April Fools' Day joke.

orenet - I tried to PM you but

"orenet has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her"

Please can you PM me or email me on sales@bhost.co.uk

Thanks

I'll take one, would I be able to use this for Gmail domain? Or would I have to use your own dns servers?

I can be the last one to avail the offer :)
I'm interested! What would be the renewal fees by the way?

That's 6 replies - so this offer is now closed.

Those lucky 6 who have responded - I will be in touch with you by PM.

Those who missed out - keep an eye out for similar offers in the future.

Thanks!

I don't quite understand what you mean here - you can certainly set the DNS records to point at Google (is it Google Apps you're wanting to use?) - but the terms require you to use our DNS service - that's the whole point in this offer!

We charge GBP £10 to renew UK domains - which is for a 2 year renewal period. We are considering reducing this - as you won't have to worry about this for 2 years, check our prices in 2011!

Thanks
