Ok so williams is out..

Whatever the hell happened to Verio, Cogent.. and all the others?

WildWayz
10-30-2002, 07:25 AM
http://www.tracert.com/cgi-bin/trace.pl

When I used that, Verio was used in some of their tracerts and they fell over too - it was probably on entry to DV2 :/

Maybe a router reset?

Dunno - will call Imran/Shazad

WildWayz

They are checking into it, but they did say they are dealing with 3 servers being DOS'd which may/may not be related - but so far they cannot see why it fell over.

I daresay Imran/Shazzy will post here with an update :)

"aaah bless them. Bet they left nice comments too"*

James

Like James said,

Some of our servers were being dossed, we have at this moment got this under control, but.. there is still a considerable amount of attacks going on.

We will keep an eye on this, and monitor it throughout to see what we get.

Not to flame anyone but don;t you guys think it woud be faster and more productive to get a hold of the data center rather than post to WHT?

I had the same problem on one of my servers there, the others were fine, at the same this thread was started. I called the data center and they had me going in 2 minutes.

WildWayz
10-30-2002, 12:52 PM
Probably because dv2's site and eserver's site were down because of it - hence why I couldn't get a number to call them :)

I ended up WHOIS'ing eservers.biz and calling Imran's mobile :D

Just out of curiosity, which number did you call and what time was that? And was it eservers or Dv2 directly?
