SoftWareRevue 03-27-2009, 01:39 PM Hi, the "View Today's Active Posts" link on the homepage do not give out any results...Threads merged. I just talked to tech and they're saying this should be resolved within another 3-4 hours. SoftWareRevue 03-27-2009, 08:08 PM Sorry I didn't update this sooner. But this has been fixed. RHS-Chris 03-27-2009, 11:04 PM Sorry I didn't update this sooner. But this has been fixed. It was working, at one point, but is now not, for me. SoftWareRevue 03-27-2009, 11:54 PM Maybe I shoulda said it's been temporarily fixed. :S Thanks! We'll get somebody on it. :) JFSG 03-28-2009, 04:23 AM Its buggy again... saadsalman 03-28-2009, 04:49 AM Its buggy again... Not to flog a dead horse but this hasn't worked for me either basically since the crash - 4-6 days now. Or perhaps it started after the site shutdown and said they were reindexing the database or somesuch so at least 3 or 4 days minimum I believe. Pretty annoying as that's the single link on the site I use the most. CretaForce 03-30-2009, 04:45 AM Yes this is something that should be fixed. target 03-30-2009, 05:12 AM Pretty annoying as that's the single link on the site I use the most. Same here. It could be one of the major reasons the sites looks less visited since the crash. target 03-30-2009, 05:14 AM Yes this is something that should be fixed. It should be priority #1 :) Second most annoing: the lack of a decent backup Third most annoing: They changed the time u have to wait to post .. "This forum requires that you wait 90 seconds between posts." JFSG 03-30-2009, 05:55 AM Third most annoing: They changed the time u have to wait to post .. "This forum requires that you wait 90 seconds between posts."This doesn't even need to take 5 minutes to accomplish... target 03-31-2009, 12:21 PM Weird thing is it sometimes works and a few hours later no more. e-Sensibility 03-31-2009, 02:27 PM Yeah, I've noticed that as well... I read in another thread that they were going to try to have it back up yesterday or something, so maybe they're working a few kinks out, I dunno. Mach4-Chris 03-31-2009, 07:39 PM The absence of it makes this forum too time consuming to be of any practical use. target 04-01-2009, 03:17 AM Seems to work again :agree: Mach4-Chris 04-01-2009, 05:11 AM Not now though. I really cannot spare the time to trawl through all the forums on the off chance that I might find a thread I'm interested in. So I'm off for now and might try again later. target 04-01-2009, 06:03 AM Not now though. I agree with u .. if it doesn't work it's to time consuming. :o Host3000 04-01-2009, 02:42 PM So, any news on fixing the 'Todays posts' and 'New Posts' searches yet? Victor Lugo 04-01-2009, 02:46 PM So, any news on fixing the 'Todays posts' and 'New Posts' searches yet? As SWR said: We have to go off line to fix "New Posts". We're making careful arrangements before we do that. Jamie Edwards 04-01-2009, 04:41 PM It seems to be working! :D SoftWareRevue 04-01-2009, 07:28 PM We're not going to go down and fix this completely until the weekend. Host Our Web 04-04-2009, 10:04 AM still not working for myself. It did work a little bit a few days ago (I think two) any update on this from a community member? Mach4-Chris 04-04-2009, 10:22 AM We're not going to go down and fix this completely until the weekend. And we all just need to be patient. UNIXy 04-04-2009, 11:50 AM This thread is in place because the bug has been discovered. SWR stated that the issue will be resolved this weekend. Please. Stop. Reporting. It. Did it occur to you that perhaps Mods are "merging" similar threads together? Hence, we'll probably see more of these "new" reports added to "this" thread. Regards Mach4-Chris 04-04-2009, 11:59 AM There is no point in us arguing amongst ourselves about an issue that we all know exists and is already announced as something that is scheduled to be fixed in a planned and sensible manner this very weekend. Let's all have a great weekend and just chill out in the meantime. The world as we know it is not coming to an end. ;) Victor Lugo 04-04-2009, 04:45 PM Did it occur to you that perhaps Mods are "merging" similar threads together?
