Yes its an obvious one and please dont give me any link you find.

Im looking for a cheap domain registrar and i mean cheap for .com/.net/.co.uk please suggest me websites where you have seen domains to be the cheapest on the internet.

Before you post please check the prices yourself and post the actual prices in this thread beside the extension. If you post a company website in this thread then please make sure you post the .com/.net/.co.uk domain prices along with them. It will just save me time from having to click and go through all of them.

If you are going to reply to a post where somebody already has suggested me a cheap domain registrar then please make sure the site you post is cheaper than what the person had posted earlier.

Cheers i look forward to your replies.

I don't think the thread will work out quite how you want it to.

However, if you are looking for cheap domain registration, look into a reseller account.

1&1 is as cheap as it gets... feel free to use your own time to verify or not.

Price is not everything. If you're looking for the cheapest pricing, then you will likely also end up with a company that is likely to:

- Have a "catch".
- Go under.. then you're screwed.

There are many examples on these forums, where someone has registered with some cheapo company, because they wanted to save 50 cents or (gasp!) even a dollar. Then a year later, they find out the company has disappeared, or won't let them transfer out without a headache, or whatever...

I recommend doing some research and finding a registrar that you *trust*, and that has good pricing, even if it's not the cheapest. Unless you're registering thousands of domains.. having a trustworthy registrar should be much more important then saving a few pennies.

For example, we have thousands of domains with eNom.com. They are not the cheapest, but they are (in our opinion) the most reliable and trustworthy right now (for us and our needs).

With regard to eNom.com pricing, if you signup under a reseller, you can get pricing of $8.95 for .com and .co.uk domains.

Good luck!

Thanks for that, i have domains registered with a reputable provider. However there are just a few domains that i need to register simply to park them, no websites will really be dependant upon them.

Thanks for the advice, i will look into enom.

So you are basically asking others to do your homework? hmm... I'm sure many would help you if you weren't so demanding. Remember you are asking for free lunch, so maybe you should not be that demanding.

Yes i have over 20 domains with 1&1, i was wondering if there would be any other cheaper places that i am not aware of.

Moniker $8.02
Netfirms $ 9.95
Domain Central $8.00

Cheers, Moniker does look good?

First of all you are forgetting why you are here on a forum.
If i was to be able to Google every answer then there would be no use for a forum.

I have looked around in all places and could found the same or similar. WHT = WebHostingTalk full of professionals who may know a little bit more for what im looking for, afterall we all deal with websites, webhosting and domains. Its much better to get an opinion on a forum rather than having to google it. Im not saying i didnt google it, im just after some well known cheap places that i may not be aware of.

I wasnt being demanding, i just had to clear a few things to make things easier for everybody and myself. When you make a thread not always do people stay on topic. If you ask for a cup of tea with one sugar you will get three instead. Sometimes its not always a cup of tea but hot water. I suppose thats part and parcel of a forum and its expected like you and a few others have demonstrated.

Just wanted to agree with this sentiment. <<snipped>> Some registrars have a lot of hidden costs while others are more transparent in their pricing. The "cheapest" doesn't always equal the least hassle.

I would say Internet.bs depending on the TLD. I also agree with what James McNally said. Also I would recommend not going with one of the LARGE uber domain registrars. Some of them have hidden policies where they can protect themselves from you using your domain. Most are decent and don't do it but some are not exactly that nice to you. Remember buyer beware.

Is namecheap realiable? I use it to register several of my nameserver. And avoid trouble in the future.

Kayz, I think you should start working on your communication skills.

After reading your initial request, I smelled slavery.

Buddy, cheer up.
