If you whois a domain and it comes up "blank," it must be available, likewise, if it comes up with info, it's taken. gmcarraway 10-30-2002, 12:32 AM WonderMonkey has just provided me with a solution. Thanks. iamdave 10-30-2002, 01:15 AM Originally posted by gmcarraway WonderMonkey has just provided me with a solution. Thanks. Can you provide us with it? gmcarraway 10-30-2002, 03:47 AM Here is a link to learn more and download. The author of the application is Bruce Corkhill. http://www.webwizguide.com/asp/sample_scripts/whois_application.asp Good Luck! pickles 10-30-2002, 10:12 PM You should know, that whois check will not always mean a name is available. Names take hours (upto 24) to reach the main registry that whois checks. You should warn your users, that results do not include names registered in the last 24 hours.
