I hope I posted this thread in the correct forum but if I didn't no doubt you have ways of moving it to the correct forum :)

I'm looking for a *cheap* web host that you can register your domain with a BIG choice of extentions (like http://blablabla.somethingdifferent, I'm sick of .com .org and .net). And I want it so there are NO monthly bills, but annual bills will be okay.

Preferbly one that can be accessed without having to enter www eg
http://mysite.extention
NOT http://www.mysite.extention

I considered 1st host web but they seem quite pricey for what you get. I'm not even comtemplating hostonce.

So...which host? I hope you can help;)

You should really post this in the requests forum, including how much space and bandwidth you require, features, extensions and most importantly price.

Why would you want your webhost to register your domain for you? You can buy a different ending (such as .biz, .us, .tv, .cc) from many different places. Most hosts will host with or without the www.
