I'd like to introduce everyone to my new company CrazyHostGuy.com. We've just opened our doors with a refreshing new way for people to have multiple domains hosted in a single plan! No need to buy 100 MB of disk space or more if you don't need it, in fact, buy only as much as you need.

Regular account pricing from $1.95/month

Resellers can buy these accounts for as little as $0.50/month.

Thank you, and any comments are well appreciated.

Yes... obviously I'm not targeting those who need lots of disk space. I'm offering plans for the 95% of people who only ever need a small amount of space.

What good is 100 MB account if someone only needs 2 mb?? I find that to be a waste of space.

For those who DO need lots of space for their sites, then we probably aren't the best host for them.

Thanks.

Well, actually Rob, you can still have it to offer. As most hosts know, virtual sites for small companies generally use less than 10MB space. Offering 100MB of space is not a waste, it just won't be used.

It plays into the law of averages. Say, for example, you have 300 sites on the server. You offer plans of 100MB to people. If you set aside all 100MB, you would need approx. 30GB of space, yet most of the servers have only 10 or 20 GB of space. How is it done? Simple. You offer it knowing that you will be just fine with 300 accounts on a server and if you need more, add another hard disk for $100 in the machine and that takes care of your problem!
