Verio or Rackspace is too expensive :(

You should put this on the advertising forum so that host can reply directly to your post. But anyway, 50GB/day is about 1500GB/mo... Hm... try to contact: serverhost.com (ask for Jeff), weinbar.com (ask for Michael), pwebtech.com (ask for Jay), dtwebworks.com (ask for Charles)... Any other I have missed?

good luck.

cheers,

I wonder if he can get $1 per GB at that volume.

I don't see why not.

At that volume (1500GB/mo), they should definitely be able to do $1/GB ... and I am sure, even better! Now the question is rather whether they require you to use 95th percentile at this volume.... :)

Try Kikko and let us know how it goes

I am intrigued to see if they can handle 1,500 GB a month for such price.

It would be better to move this to the advertising forum so hosts can reply directly.

We can provide this level of bandwidth at about $0.95 per GB using monthly average billing. If you're interested, e-mail me directly.

If you do get 95 percentile offers keep in mind it takes three times the bandwidth almost on the 95% to equal the same traffic on the average. I have used both and have the charts to prove it so take that into consideration.

If you're willing to hop from host to host a bit, and probably split your site over different hosts, I think you can do it.

I used to output 200 GB a month from AnimeWallpapers.com, and only paid $20 per month at APlusHosting.com. I did this for several months.

The key is to go to the hosting directories, search for hosts with unlimited bandwidth plans. Find out if the hosts have any special restrictions (e.g. "no image gallery sites") in their terms and conditions that would stop you from using them. Then try using the host. You'll find something eventually, but be prepared to work for it.

LOL - bet u were one of those people who use to get all those free ISP CDs and use their free trials for a month then move onto the next one - never having to pay anything :D

Just out of interest what sort of site are you running? It must be a download site as you say that it's not an adult site. Surely you must be making some money from advertising?

lets see $ .30 per gig. Even the NOC's can not get it at that cost so thats not even an option.

Network Operations Center - Basically where the servers are located. They have direct connections to the Teir 1 providers lines.
