BMurtagh 10-26-2002, 01:59 PM i tried it for my FBSD boxens (linux sucks :)), but there was a conflict with the coding and Brandee was supposedly working on a fix but i have yet to follow up with him/her about it. i don't know if Brandee forgot about us. :bawling:
spinnaweb 10-26-2002, 02:22 PM I have not forgotten about ya.
It seem that the script will not run as coded in a FreeBSD environment (yet). We have concentrated efforts into the full WHM integration module and hope to have this script running on multi-platforms after that release.
I'll keep you posted and updated once I see us heading in that direction. Don't hesitate to contact me directly if you have any insight on the FreeBSD integration.
Thanks.
spinnaweb 10-26-2002, 11:15 PM As an added note - when HostCharge is accepting new signups, we will create an account with them and see what is required to build a payment module.
I usually build modules on requests from clients or soon-to-be clients. If HostCharge is a widely used processor, we will build a module for them, if possible.
Thanks.

Cheers,
I purchased it last nite and I'm VERY pleased with it and have it integrated with 2checkout. Brandee responded to my emails blazingly fast and is nothing short of helpful. There's a demo of the order form here: http://demo.ispmanagerinabox.com/demo.php
Snowman30 10-30-2002, 08:12 AM Ive set up the demo program and while the backend looks quite good i cant seem to get the frontend to work i get an error:
File /ixed/ixed.lin.4.2.2.pxp was not found - execution has been stopped.
Not sure what the problem is, and because the code is encrypted i cant delve into it to find the problem:rolleyes:
spinnaweb 10-30-2002, 08:21 AM All that is needed is the ability for me to see what index.php you have at the test folder since the client side is not encrypted, this error should not occur.
Thanks.
Snowman30 10-31-2002, 08:13 AM Thanks for the help and advice on fixing that problem:D
I cant wait for a hostcharge module to be made.
The only critisism i have with the system as it is is that it would be nice to be able to offer more than one payment processor option at once.
For example in my current osCommerce based setup i offer PayPal, Direct Deposit, Phone orders, CC orders and am about to implement a PayMate option as well.
It would be nice to be able to develop a checkout procedure that allows you to select the payment option choice.
Thats just my two cents worth.
The only other thing im not real keen on is the ticketing system....(im a lover of PerlDesk from way back!) ....i just wish it was in PHP then i could port it across and merge it into this great looking program.
spinnaweb 10-31-2002, 08:45 AM We are working on a way to offer dual payment on checkout. Hopefully, once the WHM Full integration is complete, the 4 step order form will give the end user a chance to choose between two payment processors and/or by check.
I'll put this on the list of items to be completed.
Thanks.
I have a few questions....
- Does it run on your server or mine?
- Monthly w/o Installation - $9.95, does that require a setup fee?
- can it be converted from monthly to full with just a new key?
- can templates be modified?
- any ETA on the dual payment thing?
Thanks for the info. I might be a new customer.
spinnaweb 10-31-2002, 09:49 AM - Does it run on your server or mine?
> Runs on your server, your site
- Monthly w/o Installation - $9.95, does that require a setup fee?
> No installation has no setup fee, you perform the install.
- can it be converted from monthly to full with just a new key?
> It can be converted at any time without changing the license key.
- can templates be modified?
> All client side templates/pages can be modified to integrate seamlessly into your website.
Thanks.
Thanks for the info.
One more picky point:
The order form
No Install
$9.95 per month
(A one-time setup fee will be added to this purchase)
Mistake? :D
okihost 10-31-2002, 10:24 AM Anyone know what the process to convert current customers in 2checkout over to this system would be? Would they need to resignup.?
spinnaweb 10-31-2002, 10:26 AM If the customers/clients already existing as a billing cycle in 2Checkout, then all you need to do is create the account from admin, supply the user with their login information after activation and they are in.
This is simply a 'management system' and not a billing system/record keeping system (yet). All they need at the MIB is a client record - then they can continue to use that client area to add more hosting packages, etc.
Thanks.
Veritas 10-31-2002, 03:31 PM I like the system so far...
But I love the support! Brandee is great! I'm impressed so far, and if WHM is all I hope it will be, it will be great!
I noticed a 'promotion code' field on the order form but didnt see it in the admin demo. Can we have more than one code?
spinnaweb 10-31-2002, 05:01 PM We are writing a promotional code tracking/coupon module to use that field in the future.
x86brandon 11-02-2002, 05:19 AM I just bought it, but it wont write to the db, everything is fine, except nothing you do, like adding a plan, saves to the db...
spinnaweb 11-02-2002, 08:13 AM I prefer to offer support for the product through the helpdesk on the website.
Just need to see it to fix it -
THanks
Snowman30 11-24-2002, 08:43 AM Brandee
