Has anyone here had any experience with Mwave's (www.mwave.com) 2U rackmount cases? I ask because I buy almost all of my personal use hardware from mwave, and am currently looking at getting some rackmount cases to hold some servers I am currently using @home. Also, any other good rackmount cases /w power supplies that aren't outrageously expensive?

Prices for the cheapest 2u i saw(http://direct.mwave.com/mwave/doc2/A14231.html) is a complete ripoff, i've seen them sold for almost $100 less.
Aside from that, not really much to go wrong with a chasis :).
Mind sharing with us where?

If you have to build your own rackmount server, I will suggest you to buy supermicro cases, SC811, SC822, etc. Supermicro is very well known for building a rackmount/pedestal cases. Their case is very nice, very well ventilated, and you will also get a set of rails with their case (can be very handy). The prices are pretty awesome too ...

superpcparts.com is one that comes to mind :)
At this time there are on Internet rackmount cases for less than 150$. However, most of them have poor power supplies, which is really a pain in the ass.

Contact George at www.servercase.com (KRI) and you will absolutely not go wrong. The guy knows his stuff, and he won't sell you junk. They aren't the cheapest, but isn't it worth spending $30 more to know your server is housed in a proper case with a proper PS?
I fully recommend CI Design cases. In my opinion these are one of the best on the market (Intel uses them). I suggest you to read this article http://www.pchardware.ro/Reviews/review.php?id=166 which fully describes the build of a rackmount 2U server.
