I am thinking of making a site based on South Park and I'm curious to know if it is still popular.

I just tried unsuccessfully to find current Neilsen rating information for South Park... without the numbers, though, it certainly doesn't have the buzz that it used to, but I'd think there's still enough of a fan base to support one more website -- if the site had something worthwhile to offer. I have not seen what is already out there for southpark fan sites; but if you create something sticky enough to keep them coming back you'll do well.
