I am thinking of switching from a hosting company that offers whm/cpanel for resellers to a hosting company that offers H-sphere for resellers.

Are there any Resellers out there using H-sphere.

Good/Bad experiences?

From information I am getting from various forums, securing the sign-up pages and control panel for the Resellers end customers is not possible?

Is this true? If so, what are the rest of you doing to sign-up customers?

Are there any other bugs/problems associated with the reseller side of Hsphere?

I currently use both WHM/Cpanel and H-sphere.

In my opinion H-sphere has many limitations for the reseller control panel, and it seems reseller's are a low priority on the to do list at psoft.

I just recently droped H-sphere within the last week, and at that time I did, I had the following issues:

1. The customer signup forms, and customer control panels could not be secured using SSL. It's pretty hard to get customers to enter personel information in an unsecure form enviroment.

2. No way to customize any of the emails that get sent by the system, or even just turn them off.

3. You must use your hosts domain registration service or do this completely outside the H-spere system.

4. Non current versions of 3rd party software included within H-sphere.

5. Integrated support knowledge base that you can't even add your own faq information into.

6. Very limited customization of the cp appearence (skins).

Wrong ..... Signup pages and CP can be made secure using SSL ... and it is done on a seperate port after securing .

Bugs is there in every software .... but I have found PSoft come out with patches for most bugs very quckly :)

So you can offer secure SSL connections for your resellers signup forms and customers control panels?

Is this not at the sysadmin or hosting company level and not the resellers level?

Do you have you have any resellers using this I can see in action?

It doesn't matter, the same proceed can be done in resellers account althrough the process has to be done by the host

But, do you have any H-sphere resellers currently using this successfully?

Are there any resellers out there that are using this successfully in H-sphere that I can see in action?

Any other thoughts/opinions on the other issues that "thegump" mentioned?
