I recently tried this and it didn't work. Since they are an eNom reseller I don't see why this wouldn't work. Do I have to email NameCheap or Enom first to have them enable this? I would really like to use some of the eNom features like web page building that NameCheap doesn't have enabled on their interface.

I don't think you'll be able to login through Enom's website. I think each reseller have their own userlist and you can only login through their website.

You cannot login to eNom with your NameCheap account. I apologize that we do not currently have a web page creation feature. It's a feature we'd like to add in the future.

Any idea when namecheap will be implementing this ability to utilize enom directly to update entries? I think it'd be an excellent selling point as it would give people more confidence that there is a "backup solution." Redundancy is good in this case.
I signed up a couple of domains with namecheap and intend to sign up 4 or 5 more but I'm a little worried. I have a hypothetical question for you (or anyone who knows).
Hypothetically, what if namecheap were to go under or for unforseen reasons it was down. Am I still okay because namecheap is under enom? I would guess I could still make critical changes by working with enom. Is this true?
Everything about namecheap has been great, this lack of ability to log into enom is the one sticking point that has actually made me consider looking for other companies, so I'd say it's a very important thing to have.
Thanks for any thoughts on the matter. That being said, does anyone know any other good enom resellers (please not registerfly as I've read so many bad things about them) that allow you the ability to log into enom directly for updates?
best,
gaz

Any eNom reseller that uses PDQ for starters as PDQ sets you up with a genuine eNom retail account.
Best wishes,
Simon.
