Hi there. I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for a cheap, reliable host (bet u didn't see that comin. lol)

Here's what I need.
75+mb of space
at least 6gb of bandwidth
5 mysql databases
unlimited pop mail (or everyone.net facility)
cgi
php


That's about it. I don't want to pay setup fees and am looking for offers of $6 and under a month. Payable either half yearly or monthly.

Could someone help?

If you are after offers from web hosts, try posting this in the requests forum where web hosts can post their special offers, etc.

Hi, I am not a vendor, but only a user. I was with Innerhost. Everythign was fine, but it was expensive and supprot was often difficult -- slow responses, etc.

Have been with veo web for about 18 months. My costs are reduced and everything works great. They are also responsive.

They have flexible plans.

Could u tell me how the following hosts are? (recommendations for or if there have been any complaints against)


1. www.r2host.com
2. www.hoststation.net
3. www.55host.com
4. Nexfer
5. www.lehost.net

There seems to be some kinda problem with the sign up form at r2host

I don't know really anything about those providers. I took time when I was swtiching from Innerhost. I now have more than one site at
www.veoweb.net (http://www.veoweb.net)

And I have no complaints. Am quite happy with them.

seems like a lot of space and very little bandwidth.

It could be. I don't really know. For my purposes it is fine. If you are running a site with very high usage, that is a consideration. Seems to me you know what you are looking for. There are plenty of good providors out there, I am sure.

I am still working on building my site with them. However, have not had any kind of a significant problem with them. I think most of the problems I have is due to me being a newbie webmaster and not the host.

Yeah. I was think about that.

Is it just me or did they have like more mysql dbs, a little more bandwidth and a basic price of $3.95 just 2 months ago??

Those two don't mesh well usually. Look at these boards you will find alot of people who had their cheap "reliable" host until their host just disappeared.

Dont say we didnt warn you, when your here in two months wondering why your 30 day MBG isnt being honored. :)
