Okay i need some basic advice, please keep it simple.

We are going to have a t3 line coming in (via serial connection) and then it will become a 10/100 ethernet cat8 cable. I plan to put maybe 10-12 servers running off this line, what do i need? What brands do you recommend? I assume i would need a switch to get all the computers connections. What about a firewall? What would this do for me? Thanks.

Well your going to need a router to for that t3, and an ethernet switch. Cisco makes good equipment.

Well, your gonna have a box for the T3. Then the T3 will go to a router, AKA - Cisco one preferably.

Though I have a lean Netgear FS-105 I'd sell ya for $3000.
