Is there anyone here who hosts .nl domains with a server at tera-byte or 4webspace ?

I'm getting this nameserver errors from SIDN, and would like to know if others have got it running.

Ik kan je wel helpen met het setuppen van een .nl domein op een raq. Ik neem aan dat je je eigen dns draait want anders, zou je dit probleem niet hebben (heb het namelijk zelf ook gehad).

In ieder geval neem maar contact op via icq (63492861) of msn (nelsten@hetnet.nl). Dan zal ik je wel even helpen.

Thank you for the fast reaction and th kind offer starhost, but i'm using the 4webspace/tera-byte dns control panel, so i would like to know if it work for other people.

Could you tell me what domain it is? Then I can look @ the errors you get from SIDN and tell you whats wrong with your dns records.

I had to manually edit files to get .nl domains properly running. Mayby you should use somebody else nameservers. For instance the nameservers of http://www.widexs.nl

De DNS records moet je handmatig aanpassen. Ik heb hetzelfde probleem ook gehad. Je krijgt errors als TTL te kort en dat soort dingen.

Oplossing : handmatig je DNS record-files editten. Op de site van BIND vindt je standaard files.

Maar in ieder geval heb ik de bestanden van mijn raq zodanig aangepast, dat deze standaard alles goedzetten wanneer ik een .nl domein toevoeg. Ik hoef dus niet te kloten :-) (op 1x de bestanden aanpassen na)

Ja Noel, me is Johan. Ik neem de moeite al niet eens meer omdat zo te doen. Ik heb gewoon een paar scripts geschreven zodat ik nog sneller domeinen kan toevoegen aan me named.conf.

It still seems i have a different problem.

I called SIDN, and i (tera-byte) should advertise my own zone file in the dns records, and as a additionl problem it sees tera-byte ns1 as primary server and not my own co-branded ns1

The guy from SIDN told me it was a mess, wich isn't very helpfull, because i do not have actual acces to the dns files, only to the control panel.

I still hope someone with a server at tera-byte who actually uses the controlpanel, can share some experiences.
