windRiver is buying BSDi keeping the BSD/OS and turning BSDi into a company to sell high end servers...
So what's everyone think about this? Good or bad for BSD/OS and FreeBSD?
Being a FreeBSD zelot myself I say it's great news. It'll give BSD a kick in the pants in the embedded market and hopefully WindRiver will try to get more hardware manufactures (especially vid cards) onboard to support BSD nativly.
