I really hate to ask this, but is this (http://www.webhosters.com/top_hosts/monthly_awards/index.html) for real? Am I that disconnected?

It must be like voting in Chicago, vote early and vote often....The really sad thing is the prices the winning host is charging.http://www.sshost.com/webhosting/ I know I'm not paying 94.95 for 400megs and 25gigs of transfer.

The site wouldn't load for me.....

The folks running the site are right down the road from me (by Maine standards) and I exchanged a few e-mails with them when they were starting the site. They're a couple of know-nothings who just want to make money. So what else is new in the "host directory" business?

What I really wanna know is how come they have all those pictures of someone holding up a chunk of sewer pipe with ears.

Their prices aren't bad on the low end, but at the high end they suck.

I wonder how much these hosts had to pay to be listed as award winners more than once. I think I counted that one of them was listed 4 times! On most sites it is expensive just to get listed at all, let alone 3 or 4 times!!
