What is the advantage of double ethernet to single ethernet?
Any big difference in performance? And what area of performance?

One of the biggest advantages that we use double ethernet cards is for backing up the boxes.

Point of view of NOC, that is good. But is there any big advantage from the host side?

There are two advantages:

1. Depending on how the cards are configured, two cards could provide you with redundant connections (assuming they are connected to different switches, etc :)).

2. Backups can eat up a lot of bandwidth, so you don't want to have them using trhe same port you are trying to send hosting traffic through.
