Hi.

I'm going to move my site at communitech to the new host. Now I'm thinking about Venture3 (ventures online) and WebPower (site5). The price are almost the same and both offered 200MB of webspace and 10GB of bandwidth. I just need your advice which one is better, more reliable, less downtime, etc....?

Do a search here. You will find some interesting threads about those two.

Hi,
While the plans may be similar, they are located in 2 different NOC's
Site5 at NAC.net ( my local ISP, too :))
VO at VDI.net
This may or may not factor into your decision. Good companies both, though. :)

I suggest you seach for both hosts, or just read down the list of threads (even onto page two), as both have been discussed (possibly in comparison) really recently.

I recently made the same move that you are considering. I was a CommuniTech.Net customer for over a year, and recently ended up signing up with Site5.

I've been beyond satisfied with their quality of service, as well as their helpful customer support and tech support. I wouldn't pause and think twice about recommending them to anyone.

Hope this helps.

I don't know site5, but my account with VenturesOnline has really good support, also there is a nice community helping each other.
