I am considering a managed dedicated server. I am currently a reseller with value web but am looking to move. I have about 74 active sites and several parked (spread around). I would like to put them all together at one place. Would this be a wise decision? Any Suggestions?

Well, with 74 active sites It is time to move yourself into a dedicated server, assuming that you are comfortable administrating the server.

You may want to look into Ventures Online for a dedicated server. You will have the option of using cpanel/WHM for a nominal fee and you will also have good support if you require it. Their servers are very reasonable as well.

Their website implies that cpanel/whm is included with all plans....

If you are looking for a managed dedicated server, I think the place that has the best reputation is probably RackSpace.com (http://www.rackspace.com). Their prices are pretty reasonable when compaired with other managed dedicated providers.

You may not need a managed server however. You can certainly save tens if not hundreds of dollars a month if you go with a non-managed dedicated server. Most dedicated servers come with a control panel that lets you handle the administrative tasks yourself, without having to worry about using the telnet "command line" interface.

For non-managed dedicated servers, Ventures Online was already mentioned. Weinbar.com (http://www.weinbar.com) also has an excellent reputation, as does DTWebWorks.com (http://www.dtwebworks.com). Others to consider are DialtoneInternet.com (http://www.dialtoneinternet.com), and I can personally recommend Datapipe.com (http://www.datapipe.com).
