Now that my domain resolves, I'm having problems with the e-mail configuration. I can't send (sits there for a minute then says the SMTP server is not responding)or receive. POP before Relay is not enabled Here's what I have so far:

MX record pointing domain.com to www.domain.com

Smart Relay Host Name: Empty
Relay for the following Hosts/Domains: IP address and domain.com
Host/Domain Aliases : www.domain.com

What is wrong with that configuration?

<edit>I'm using www.domain.com for the POP and SMTP server in Outlook.</edit>

Any idea's? I had this set up about a year ago and could swear this is all I did (although that was on a RaQ3). In site setitngs, it has e-mail aliases. Does somehting have to be here? Currently I have www.domain.com and domain.com.

-any reason it isn't? Mine is enabled and I have no problems.

I believe you should have Outlook set to mail.domain.com for both the POP and SMTP servers. Then have domain.com and mail.domain.com as email server aliases.

This is a symptom of your domain still not resolving properly.

It does resolve.

Running our of ideas so I did the following:

3 MX records:
domain.com ->www.domain.com
domain.com ->mail.domain.com
domain.com ->domain.com

E-Mail aliases for:
www.domain.com
mail.domain.com
domain.com

I tried all 3 as my POP/SMTP servers in outlook and it just says host.domain.com cannot be found.

Can you hit it using the IP address?

You mean in a browser? If so, The domain and the IP both work in a browser.

Does anyone have a complete example including MX records, E-Mail aliases, and E-Mail parameters?

Try collecting/sending mail to username@IP ADDRESS

I have bigger problems then I thought :(. Since I was working with my domain at 8AM today, it seems to have depropagated since. It's no longer accessable. I haven't changed any settings except e-mail related ones :(.
