Design is not all that nice and the colors make me wanna go spew.

It took a fair amount of time to load for me and I'm on cable. First I saw the purple background for about 5 seconds and was thinking to myself that I accidentally stumbled upon a Barney fan page. Other than that, I never really cared for images such as the Paypal logo you have. It's in a white box with no black border. I always think that images look better with a border around it, or with the same background color as the background it is in.

seems the connection is hit and miss. I saw it earlier, but shut down the window after two minutes just now with nothing appearing.

From what I saw earlier it needed improvement. The overall design isn't of a high quality. Someone also mentioned in another thread the links didn't work correctly in places (in regard to sign up). Paypal isn't considered very good when used in a professional capacity. Business sites tend to work better using a more somber approach to design - clean edges, conservative approach.

It's not *bad* as such (I've seen a lot worse in my time), but it doesn't give me any sense of professionalism, and wouldn't inspire me to look further than the front page.

P.S. Contrary to our discussion in another thread I am giving an unbiased opinion here.
