Thanks again for your help.
From your experience, what is the average size of a small business web page in MBs that I can expect to host. Using these to plan our hardware requirements.
Thanks, Deaner

I don't have precise statistics, but *very few* small business websites go over 5 megabytes.

Deaner-
A small business website will likely only need a 1-2 MB to house everything - assuming the images you are using aren't large ones. I've made many small business websites for people with great graphics, about 10 pages total and only used up 1mb of space! Hope this helps you out, but keep in mind that you may need space down the road if you do with to keep say sound, video, large image files and flash type stuff.
It's good to have more than you need. Most hosts these days offer more than 5MB. Any less would be like free hosting.
Hard drive space is so cheap these days, why not.

Also add another MB or two depending on how much email you'll be getting and also some for Stats.
My guess is no more than 5 MB for a small business.
http://www.wonderfulwebpages.com is about 152 KB.
I probably get another 50-100KB of mail every day.
I think my stats are probably a couple MB, but I assume in the 5 MB size range, you dont get a stats program anyway.
So, probably at most wonderfulwebpages.com uses 3 MB.
I have other sites on my account and probably use 30 MB and pay for 75 MB.
