Last month I wrote a PHP script that runs a tripwire report and then e-mails it to the system administrator. I just cleaned the code up a little and created some documentation for the "program," now called Tripwire Mail.

i don't understand. what benefits does this script provide over and above simply putting tripwire --check --report in cron.daily?
