Yeah, you know you want to sign up. Go to www.theogc.com, click webhosting, then under "Featured Hosting" click on Theogc.com - 1. Then go to the last plan :). Someone's overselling, really, really, really overselling.

I am not sure if a server can handle 1 terabyte, let alone having a couple of accounts in it. Someone must really have to pay serious money for bandwidth. Tazzman 10-15-2002, 07:50 AM Hmmm, I should grab me 4 of those accounts. Would save me from getting a dedicated server and would provide far more transfer :D UH-Matt 10-15-2002, 07:51 AM lets all grab one.. and PUNISH the server :) The Prohacker 10-15-2002, 07:53 AM Hmm... Anyone have a UCG colo box with a terabyte of traffic :D We just need one account on each :D Angel78 10-15-2002, 08:02 AM but their pricing is to high :) check this on their forum : http://www.theogc.com/cgi-bin/hlm/topic.cgi?forum=12&topic=4 skyhost 10-15-2002, 08:32 AM Don’t forget visit http://www.theogc.com/hosting1extras.shtml Theogc.com - Network 1 - Web Hosting - Extras Extra Their Price Our Price Bandwidth 100GB $35.00/mo $5.95/mo Who are "Their" with $0.35 price for 1GB bandwidth? :) UH-Matt 10-15-2002, 08:50 AM seriously.. im up for wasting $15.94 and teaching a little lesson here :) whos with me ?!!? Aushosts 10-15-2002, 08:55 AM Who cares! jake712 10-15-2002, 09:04 AM Hmmm, I say we start a new free host off of that plan and see how many warez abusers we get in the first day :). mark_uk 10-15-2002, 09:47 AM Me thinks that should be MB not GB! Woser 10-15-2002, 09:48 AM Our network bandwidth is supplied via ADSL lines (expandable to T1 as needed). Our bandwidth providers are SBC and Southwestern Bell. We always keep our lines running at under maximum capacity to insure that your site loads quickly. Ya.. i wanna see you get more then 1000 GB through an ADSL connection.. :uzi: :spam: UH-Matt 10-15-2002, 10:09 AM the customers ? the adsl providers ? us hosts who lose out to them, then have to convince annoyed customers we arent the same ? I don't think you get bwith cheap enough with only an OC-3 :) gpan 10-15-2002, 12:05 PM (I doubt you could get even a T1 equivalent off most ADSL lines, because of the sharing setup) Just wish there was actually more of a totally independant, recognized review service for smaller hosts. Sainthax 10-15-2002, 12:11 PM someone get an account and lets throw some linux ISOs on the server and get a bunch of people on the forum to download them...the entertainment value in that is worth 15 bucks |
