I don't think Im going to try rehab - because I dont have the power to stay away from the internet - it has a hold on me now --help me please ;)

That's my motto, because I know I'll get horrible withdrawal symptoms unless I go on at least 3 times a day for hours at a time :D

I once had to go a week without it, I became depressed and got physically ill. Somedays though I just wanna through anything to do with the internet out the window! Without the internet and my stock charts and all the good realtime access to anything, i feel isolated and alone.

Hmm, I work on it, I pay on it, I met my fiancee on it...

... have to say yes in that regard *chuckle*

You think that's bad? If I can't find any new site's to surf, I start surfing site's in langauges I don't know how to read. I can't tell you how many sleepless nights I've surfed sites in Italian, Arabic, Malay, Hindi, German, just anything... I don't care anymore, I just need to surf.. I can't help it!

However, I'm still not sure I'm addicted... I mean, I can quite anytime I want.. I'll think about this some more, after I surf around for the next 28 hours... I need a little time to think.. I feel like some Swedish sites tonight...

Well, since my wife uses this computer, in reality, I really don't think it would be wise to look at any Swedish history sites anyway... :-)

Does it count as Internet addiction when you routinely wake up in the middle of the night (ie, 10AM), check your email, and then go back to sleep for another 4 hours?

Hmm..no. That's pretty normal isn't it? :)
