Akash 10-13-2002, 02:27 PM if i wanted to sell my clients, I wouldn't want to sell to someone with so many spelling mistakes...that just shows unprofessionalism and shows how the new host (you) will treat my satisfied clients. I don't want to put them in wrong hands and get them pissed off for no reason....

Really?! Why wasn't I and the rest of my staff informed???
KStudios 10-13-2002, 06:16 PM lol good one
silock 10-13-2002, 10:16 PM maybe english isn't his first language?
RobTheGolfer 10-13-2002, 10:36 PM Yeah, if you aren't looking to sell your clients I don't find it neccessary for you to be mocking him. You don't know him, and you don't know how he treats his clients.
AlaskanWolf 10-13-2002, 11:59 PM Yah, like Rob said, have some fricken respect in this damn joint

dynamitehost 10-14-2002, 02:27 PM Quite frankly, I don't want my clients to be decoding his english everytime they ask him something....
Gurudev 10-14-2002, 04:43 PM People who pick on sepllling miskates on this forum and on other forums, should get a life. Become an editor at Washington Post or something - don't hang around here and insult other people.
English is not the first language of everyone. When I am posting in a forum, spelling is the last thing I want to worry about. I don't give a rats patootie about spelling mistakes while making a conversation in forums. There is no spell check in this forum. Are you suggesting that one should compile a document offline and do a spell check before posting here? What nonsesnse! Come on, don't be so nitpicky! Focus on the real issues, for once.
And if you don't want to sell him/her your precious clients (you wouldn't sell them if they were so precious, anyway) then just don't, but there is no need to throw insults.
GWDGuy 10-14-2002, 05:32 PM It is sad to see spelling mistakes on simple words but you can tell this person is Not from this country or at the very least English is not their first language or second :). I see a lot of spelling mistakes on here everyday from American kids so what's the deal on this post??
Either way think of this, how many Non-english companies are here in the U.S.?? I am sure there are a lot and the owners might not even speak or spell as well as this forum member but they do hire people that do speak english, just the same as I have hired Spanish speaking CSR's to handle clients that would not understand a word that I typed. :D
I think this type of bashing is getting way out of hand and I thought that these types of post were going to get people banned from here?? Chicken?? is that not true??
Wake up and smell the maple nut crunch... (some of the kiddies might not know this one :) )
I am not trying to start trouble but come on people, if you don't have anything nice to say please keep quite..

Some of us just type too fast to care how it came out and some of us have fat fingers :)
geez, how old is this guy?
ef he wuz talking but his kewl gamming sitez or some innernashunal site, english wouldn't be so crucial. He is takin bout buyin a bussines, for cryin out loud! . . . and he is asking in (poor) english, so he must want english speaking customers.
Businesses need to be able to properly communicate with their (not there) clients, in whatever language the clients speak.
I don't speak spanish, so I do not advertise to potential spanish clients.
My motto: "Want my money? - Speak my language"
